Halloween it is celebrated principally in The United States in the night of October 31. The children disguise themselves for the occasion and walk along the streets asking for sweets of door in door. After calling to the door the children declare the phrase " Trick or treatment(deal) " or " Sweet or trick " (from the English expression " trick or treat "). If the adults give them candies, money or any other type of remuneration, is interpreted that they have accepted the treatment(deal). If on the contrary they refuse, the boys they will spend(consume) a small joke, being the most common to throw eggs or shaving foam against the door.

The word Halloween is a derivation of the English expression All Hallow's Eve (Eve of the Day of the Saints). There was celebrated in the Anglo-Saxon countries, principally in Canada, The United States, Ireland and the United Kingdom. But nowadays it is celebrated in almost all the western countries by major or minor presence.

His(Her,Your) origins go back to the Celts [1], and the holiday(party) was exported to the United States by emigrants especially Irish in the 19th century, more or less about 1846. The expansive force of the culture of USA has done that Halloween has become popular also in other countries. The day of Halloween, in modern times it is considered to be an American holiday(party).


The history of the Halloween goes back to it(he,she) does more than 2.500 years, when the Celtic year was ending at the end of the summer, precisely on October 31 of our calendar. The cattle was taken from the meadows to the stables for the winter. This last day, it was supposed that the spirits could go out of the cemeteries and to get hold of the bodies of the alive(vivacious) ones to revive. To avoid it, the Celtic settlements were dirtying the houses and "were" "decorating" them with bones, skulls and other disagreeable things, so that the dead men were happening(passing) from length scared. Of there there comes the tradition of decorating with sinister motives the houses in the current eve of all the saints and also the disguises(fronts).
